The Invitation of Spring: Honouring Our Inner and Outer Seasons

The scent of blossoms carries something ancient, something deep. Every year, without fail, the first fragrant blooms of spring bring tears to my eyes. They are reminders of renewal, of possibility, of all the seeds waiting to be planted. In their soft unfolding, I see the reflection of my own becoming.

As the earth transitions from winter’s quiet into spring’s awakening, we, too, shift. Just as the frozen ground softens to receive new life, we may find parts of ourselves thawing, opening, and readying for what’s next. These seasonal rhythms are not separate from us; they are woven into our being. The more we honour them in the world around us, the more we attune to our own cycles of change, growth, and renewal.

Right now, I am moving through big transitions of my own. Change can feel unsteady, sometimes exhilarating, sometimes disorienting. But I find immense gratitude for the practices that ground me—the rituals, the vision, the steady anchors that remind me of who I am amid transformation. Nature has become my teacher, whispering that just as the seasons shift, so do I, and that there is deep wisdom in honoring the process rather than rushing through it.

Spring offers us an invitation: to be intentional about what we are planting in our lives. Just as a gardener selects seeds with care, we can pause and ask ourselves—what do we want to cultivate in this new season? What energies, relationships, or projects feel aligned with our becoming? What do we need to nourish so that, come summer, we can see our visions in full bloom?

I desire this for myself, and for you. I hold a vision for you to feel rooted, even in transition. I wish for you to trust that whatever is shifting in your life is part of a greater rhythm, one that mirrors the natural world. And I want you to know that you are not alone in this unfolding.

So as the blossoms unfurl and the scent of spring fills the air, may we each take a deep breath and step forward with intention. May we plant with care, water our dreams, and trust the unfolding—both within and all around us.
